CSS Profile School Code Numbers are four-digit codes you use to submit your application to colleges you are interested in. These four-digit codes are added to your CSS Profile. This allows the identified school to receive your CSS Profile application upon submission. There is no limit to the number of CSS Profile School Code Numbers you can use. However, it’s important to know that, unlike the FAFSA, there is a charge per school with the CSS Profile.
