College Board provides a great resource for families of divorce as they navigate the non-custodial parent CSS Profile application process.

Here’s how to create a non-custodial parent account:

1. Go to cssprofile.org

2. Click the Sign In button for the appropriate application award year

3. Click Create Account under Don’t have an account?

4. Create your account using your (the parent’s) information, not the student’s information.

How to Complete College Board Non-Custodial Parent CSS Profile

After the non-custodial parent has created their account, they are able to log into the CSS Profile to complete their application. The application must be completed per the instructions on the CSS Profile. Be sure to note when the CSS Profile is asking for student information and when it wants info on the parent submitting the form.
